Local search, conversion, and the document viewer stay on your computer. VERA Pro adds an account so the app can fetch a model key.

What we store

• Your email address and sign-in session, held by Supabase Auth.
• Subscription status, Paddle customer id, and the current period end.
• The hash of the OpenRouter key issued to you. The key itself is returned once to the desktop app and is not stored on the server.
• A short-lived desktop sign-in code, deleted after it is used or expires.

What leaves your computer

When you use Pro Ask, the question and the retrieved passages are sent to OpenRouter and then to the model provider you chose. Those companies process that text under their own terms. We do not receive a copy of the passage text.

Paddle processes payment details. We do not store your card number.

How long

Account and subscription rows stay while the account exists. You can ask us to delete the account after the subscription has ended. Desktop sign-in codes expire after five minutes.
